How to Beat Bad News and Recharge For Success

As with all things, there must be some kind of value in being able to deal with bad news. Most people are going to have to concede defeat on this one because it is impossible for us to really create solutions in the midst of bad news. They don’t understand the fine art of mental aikido.

We face problems because the very presence of the bad news triggers other thoughts in our minds. We can’t handle it, and it becomes even more of a problem as it consumes us with anger or fear or doubt https://arsprojecta.com/. The more that state you are in, the more likely you are to experience problems associated with that state. So, ironically, this issue is not anything else or anyone else, but you.

So, how can anyone dal with these problems? The key thing is that bad news affects us based on our interpretation, and we must learn how to re-interpret whatever we have seen. This can be done in a process known as reframing.

There are many ways to do a reframe, but what I find most useful is the concept of state-based reframing. When you shift your emotional state, you can get yourself out of a fix rather quickly. Let’s  use the example: “They are unfair – they blame me for things they don’t do themselves.”

Awhile back I wrote an article that asked about if I were just starting out marketing my church, would I go with a website or a blog? And I answered if I was just going to start with one, I would join the Blogging Brigade. That was part of a larger article, so I wanted the opportunity to dig in a bit deeper.

I explained that blogs have the ability to quickly build a community while websites (especially church websites) tend to be static. What does that mean you ask?In my experience, it is not uncommon that once a church website gets published, the only thing that might (and that truly is the exception) change is the calendar of events. Church websites tend to provide details about the church, the minister, what the church advocates, location directions, etc. Church websites can be a great tool if all the information that you need doesn’t really change. You really can’t say they are inviting in most cases. I am not saying they don’t try. Keep in mind that websites primary method of dealing with information is outgoing. You might get a prayer request on some church websites, but pretty much it is a one way street in regards to the information that is provided.

This article will discuss the Blog; the first and possibly the most critical of the five critical steps to optimising your Internet marketing strategy. I will describe the importance of the blog in your overall Internet marketing strategy, and finally describe its relationship with the other four essential steps.

The Wikipedia defines a blog as, a type of website, usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video. Blogs can provide commentary or news on particular subjects or can function as more of a personal online diary. A typical blog can combine text, images and links to other blogs or web pages.

Thanks in part to the rapidly changing social environment brought on by the age of the internet, online networking and self-publishing has become something of a phenomenon for today’s web generation. One of the favorite activities of many avid internet networkers is blogging, which has also quickly become an important source of communication and information for those who follow the blogs. Without the fast internet connections offered by cable and satellite broadband, none of this would be possible. With an estimated over 100 million blogs in cyberspace, which ones should you be reading?

Let’s start with what exactly a blog is. A blog is essentially a website that is typically controlled by one or a few people and involves rolling commentary, oftentimes updated in the style of a personal diary or notebook. Blogs encourage interaction on the part of the blog readers and the creator, the blogger, through the blog space for leaving commentary and responding to questions, inquiries, or opinions noted by the blog’s author.

Blogs can be any number of things – while some are extremely focused on one particular topic, others are more general and encompass a variety of topics. While most blogs are text-based, there are also specialized blogs, such as photo-based photoblogs, art-oriented artlogs, video vlogs, and audio blogs, called podcasting.

Probably the most popular type, though, is the personal blog. The personal blog is typically composed by an individual who uses the format as their personal diary space, either for solely personal use or to share with friends and family. Some such blogs have gained recognition as being important life reflections or actual literary gems, though very few ever reach the point of fame.

Other blogs are dealt with much more loosely and impersonally, and may keep a running commentary on everything from general topics like fashion, celebrities, social groups, and sports, to such specifics as Southeast Asian cooking, teddy bear collections, and news for Jewish college students. Other blogs cover nitch literature, the misuse of Chinese characters in the western world, Ivy League gossip, photos of things that have been found in the street, overheard conversations in Pittsburgh, and one blog authored by a Quentin Tarantino impostor.
